Serena Birring

Serena Birring is an experienced recruitment professional currently serving as the Head of Recruitment and Community at iwoca since April 2017. In this role, Serena manages a team of recruiters and oversees recruitment efforts across offices in the UK and Germany, while also nurturing a community-centric office team. Prior to joining iwoca, Serena worked as a Talent Partner at Talentful for one year, assisting startups in building and scaling their teams through in-house recruitment consultancy. Earlier experience includes a consultant position at RedCat Digital from July 2014 to April 2016. Serena holds a BA in Sociology from the University of Westminster and completed education at Wilmington Grammar School for Girls.
