William Hayes

William Hayes is the current head of engineering at iwoca. William previously worked as a data analysis and algorithms engineer at Sphere Medical from June 2014 to August 2015. During their time at Sphere Medical, they designed and wrote new algorithms to convert sensor voltages to analyte concentrations for a blood gas analyser. William also modelled their effect on test data using MATLAB, and wrote specifications for them to be integrated into the device software.

William Hayes attended Whitgift School and then went on to study engineering for the life sciences at the University of Cambridge. William received their master's degree from Cambridge.

They work with Mark Richens - Head of Credit Risk, Jake Mellet - Head of Marketing, and Avi Ashkenazi - Head of Customer Products. William Hayes reports to James Dear, CTO / Founder.
