Don Bawtree

Don Bawtree is a Partner at BDO LLP, where they have led the Charity sector group and managed relationships with larger national charities for over 25 years. They have served on various boards, including the audit committee of the London and Chichester Dioceses, and have acted as an expert witness for the Charity Commission. Don has a notable background in audit, having chaired the Auditing Practices Board committee for charity audits, and has contributed to the field as a visiting lecturer at CASS Business School and an author. Previously, they were a Partner at Mazars and a Consultant with PWC Kenya, focusing on aid projects and support for small businesses. Don holds two Master’s Degrees in Archaeology and Anthropology from Jesus College, Cambridge.
