Steven Hoon

Steven Hoon is a seasoned Tax Partner at BDO UK LLP, specializing in tax advice for private and private equity-backed companies based in Southampton since July 2017. With a strong focus on owner-managed and family businesses, Steven offers expertise in areas such as corporation tax, mergers and acquisitions, shareholder reorganizations, and financial structuring. Previously, Steven held roles as Tax Director and Tax Senior Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, where contributions included advising private companies and private equity teams in the South East. Prior experience at KPMG UK as a Tax Associate and Tax Assistant Manager further solidified knowledge in taxation. Steven Hoon holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from the University of Warwick.
