Lesha Witmer is an experienced professional in water governance and advocacy, currently serving as an advocacy advisor for the Women for Water Partnership since February 2015, and holding various significant roles including deputy chair of the Strategic Advisory Committee for the World Water Quality Alliance and Vice President of the International Water Resources Association. Witmer co-founded the European Pact for Water, facilitating coordination and advocacy efforts across Europe for water-related issues. Additional roles include being an alternate permanent representative to the UN for Business and Professional Women International and a senior consultant at Witmer Management & Advice, specializing in sustainable development and training. Witmer's extensive background also includes leadership positions with the Butterfly Effect NGO coalition and VAM Foundation, as well as advisory work with the World Wildlife Fund.
