Roni Kanelbaum

Roni Kanelbaum is a skilled business development and investment professional, with over a decade of experience developing, managing and investing in deep-tech, cutting edge multi-disciplinary initiatives. As an Investment Associate at OurCrowd, Israel most active VC with more than $1.8B in AUM, Mrs. Kanelbaum is the main focal point for 35 portfolio companies and 6 incubators, leading and managing investments of over $35m.

Prior to OurCrowd Roni was an entrepreneur and the chief system engineer at Sky and Space global – a start-up aiming to provide worldwide connectivity using Nano Satellites (2017-2020), responsible for the company’s product, GTM strategy and managing the development. Earlier in her career Roni was a program manager in IAI and MoD, managing the development of cutting-edge system-of-systems technologies. Roni has an extensive experience in strategic planning, capital raising strategies, financial management, engineering and development management and business plan modeling. She holds a B.Sc. in aerospace engineering and M.E in system engineering both from the Technion and MBA specializing in strategy and business development from the IDC, all with honours. Roni is a recipient of an ‘Israel National Defence Award’ certification of appreciation, for her contribution to the development of a cutting-edge world-leading system.
