Andreas Garcia

Andreas Garcia has a diverse work experience. Andreas is currently working as a Software Engineer at IXL Learning since January 2020. In 2018, they worked as an Intern at nCent Labs, where they contributed to backend and full-stack programming projects, including API and homepage development, as well as AWS hosting. Andreas also worked as a Course Assistant at Stanford University Department of Computer Science, where they assisted in courses on Algorithms, Cryptography, and Complexity Theory, guiding students and contributing to class material. In 2016, they worked as a SUMO Math Tutor at Stanford University and as a Digital Instrument Development Intern at Yamaha Corporation of America, where they developed parameter editing programs and contributed to the development of a new digital piano. Additionally, they worked as an American Language and Culture Coordinator at VIA at Stanford, helping foreign students learn and practice English.

Andreas Garcia completed their Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Stanford University, where they studied from 2013 to 2017. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science in Computer Science from the same university, undertaking their studies from 2017 to 2019.
