Kay Jones

Kay Jones has a strong background in quality assurance and software development, with over 20 years of experience in various roles. Currently, they are working as a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst at IXL Learning, starting in 2022. Prior to this, they were an Associate QA Automation Engineer at TransLoc from 2021 to 2022. From 2016 to 2021, Kay worked at Globant as a Sr. Quality Assurance Analyst. Before that, they were a Product / QA Analyst at SciQuest, where they played a key role in developing software functionality and collaborating with team members. Kay also worked as a Quality Assurance Analyst at Archway Marketing Services, where they were responsible for ensuring the quality of proprietary software systems. Earlier in their career, they served as a Business Analyst at Agilysys and an Application Analyst/Trainer at Network Communications, Inc. Kay also gained experience in government agencies, working as a Computer Consultant II at NCDOT and as a Software Trainer/Computer Consultant at NCDOT. Throughout their career, Kay has demonstrated strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Kay Jones, CSM holds a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Agriculture Education from North Carolina State University. Kay attended the university from 1991 to 1996. Prior to that, Kay obtained a Diploma from East Carteret High School, where they studied from 1985 to 1989. In addition to their academic achievements, they have obtained certifications such as Certified Scrum Master from Scrum Alliance in November 2018 and Certified SAFe® 5 Product Owner/Product Manager from Scaled Agile, Inc.
