Micaela L. has a diverse work experience in the education field. Micaela started their career in 2008 as a Math and Reading Teacher in the Garland Independent School District, where they implemented innovative teaching methods and mentored female students. In 2011, they transitioned to All Saints Catholic School in Dallas, where they served as an ELA Teacher and Technology Specialist, focusing on integrating technology into lessons and facilitating campus-wide technology integration. Micaela joined Plano ISD in 2014 as an Academic Specialist, providing academic support and guidance to students. In 2020, they joined IXL Learning as a Professional Learning Specialist, delivering high-quality professional development sessions and collaborating with the Sales Enablement team to onboard new employees. Micaela later advanced to the role of Senior Professional Learning Specialist, demonstrating leadership and superior productivity on assigned projects.

Micaela L. obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from The University of Texas at Dallas between 2005 and 2007. Micaela then pursued a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Teacher Leadership at Lamar University from 2011 to 2012. In addition to their degrees, Micaela obtained a Teaching License-Standard in Generalist EC-8, Math 4-8, ESL EC-8 from the Texas Education Agency in June 2008. Micaela also became a Google Certified Educator in January 2019.
