Oliver L.

Oliver L. has a diverse work experience in software engineering. Oliver is currently working as a Software Engineer at IXL Learning, starting in February 2023. Prior to that, they had an internship at Meta as a Software Engineer Intern from June 2022 to August 2022.

Oliver also worked as a Course Assistant at New York University from September 2021 to December 2021.

In 2020, Oliver held two software engineering positions. At Huiying Medical Technology Co., Ltd., they collaborated on designing an intelligent task scheduling system and developed it using Spring Boot, SpringCloud, and MyBatisPlus. Oliver also implemented distributed access control using OAuth2 and JWT.

At Sinkstars Technology, Oliver collaborated with a frontend engineer to create a customer help system using Django and React. Oliver also designed an online customer chat service based on WebSocket and implemented an email module on Alibaba Cloud using Python, achieving a 99% delivery rate.

Furthermore, Oliver gained experience as a Software Engineer Intern at the University of Michigan from September 2019 to February 2020. Oliver contributed to building a distributed crawler tool for data collection on social media. Oliver utilized Redis for data storage, Celery and RabbitMQ for message queuing, and Flask, HTML, and JavaScript for the tool's interface.

Oliver L. pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in computer science from the University of Michigan College of Literature, Science, and the Arts. Oliver attended this institution from 2017 to 2020. Subsequently, Oliver continued to expand their knowledge in the field by enrolling in New York University. From 2021 to 2022, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) in computer science.
