Rashid al-Shamsi

Rashid Al-Shamsi's work experience includes founding and leading ixtel, a company focused on digital transformation and technology solutions for multinational corporations. Rashid is also a board member at Emirati Entrepreneurs Association, where they support young entrepreneurs in developing projects that boost the national economy. Additionally, Rashid has been a member of the Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development, which aims to instill an investment culture and support small to medium-sized investments in the UAE. Rashid has also been a member of Mohammed Bin Rashid Est. for SME Development (Dubai SME), a governmental organization that promotes entrepreneurship and provides various services to support SMEs in Dubai's economic growth. Rashid's previous roles include Director Advanced Services and Professional Services Manager at du, a telecommunications company, as well as a Senior Engineer in Data Services at Etisalat, a leading telecom group in emerging markets.

Rashid Al-Shamsi obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Telecoms Engineering from Khalifa University from 1995 to 2000. Rashid later pursued a Master of Science degree in EMBA from Zayed University between 2003 and 2005.
