Derya Baran

Derya Baran is currently serving as an Associate Professor at KAUST since January 2017. Derya is also a Co-Founder of Red Sea Farms, established in January 2021. Prior to these roles, Derya has held various research and teaching positions at institutions such as Imperial College London, Friedrich Alexander University Erlangen-Nürnberg, METU, and Middle East Technical University. With a background in Materials Science and Engineering, Derya Baran has a strong research and academic career.
