Nico Augsburger Ph.D. is currently the Head of Sales, Americas at RedSea, where Nico is focused on expanding the company's impact in the Americas and European markets through strategic relationships. Previously, at KAUST, Nico worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow, optimizing air filtration systems for removing airborne pathogens. Nico also has experience as a Research Intern at Georgia Tech Research Institute, where Nico conducted multidisciplinary research in microbiology and civil engineering. Additionally, Nico volunteered as a Public School Teacher at Georgia State University, teaching STEM classes to 5th grade students. Nico holds a Ph.D. in Microbiology, a Master's in Environmental Science and Engineering, and Bachelor's degrees in Biology and Chemistry.
