Meagan Whitaker Newman

Meagan Whitaker Newman has a diverse work experience in the field of finance and accounting. Meagan is currently working at IZEA as the Director of FP&A and Fin Ops, a role they have held since November 2021. Prior to this, Meagan worked at IZEA as the Controller from May 2015 to October 2021. Meagan also served as the Accounting Manager at IZEA from May 2014 to April 2015.

Before joining IZEA, Meagan worked at Cross, Fernandez & Riley, LLP as a Senior Associate from November 2013 to May 2014. Prior to that, they worked at Kaufman, Rossin & Co. as an Audit Senior from November 2010 to October 2013. Earlier in their career, Meagan gained experience as an Audit Assistant at Edwin W. Ewart Jr., CPA from January 2009 to November 2010. Meagan'sfirst job was as an Office Assistant at United Homes International from January 2006 to January 2009.

Meagan Whitaker Newman earned a Bachelors degree in Accounting from Florida International University - College of Business, which they attended from 2005 to 2009. Prior to that, they completed their secondary education at Dade Christian High School from 2001 to 2005. Meagan later pursued a Masters degree in Accounting at Florida International University - College of Business in 2010.
