IziBiz Consulting is a strategic anthropology boutique founded in 2014 in Bucharest. We apply ethnographic research and sociotechnical analysis to organisations, markets, and urban environments, helping leaders see what surveys miss and dashboards flatten.
Our proprietary methodology — Embodied Assemblage Mapping (EAM) — integrates embodiment theory (Csordas, Merleau-Ponty, Bourdieu), flat ontologies from Science and Technology Studies (Latour, Callon, Law, Mol), and organisational psychology, to map three layers of any situation: Bodies, Artifacts & Technologies, Relations & Translations.
We have worked across financial services, energy, retail, FMCG, real estate, professional services, and the public sector. We have led urban regeneration research, managed URBACT co-design projects, and served as embedded communications director for a major shopping mall through the pandemic.
