Zeynep Firtina

Zeynep Fırtına is an accomplished academic with extensive experience in the field of molecular biology and genetics. Currently serving as a Professor and Associate Professor at İzmir Ekonomi Üniversitesi since May 2018, Zeynep Fırtına has also held the position of Assistant Professor at Izmir University of Economics since October 2014. Prior experience includes roles as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Dokuz Eylul University Medical School from May 2013 to October 2014, and at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine from September 2010 to June 2012. Zeynep Fırtına completed a PhD in Molecular Biology and Genetics at the University of Delaware from 2004 to 2010, after earning a degree from Sabanci University between 1999 and 2004.
