Ben Achour has been working in the engineering industry since 1998. ben began their career at GHG Corporation as a Senior Engineer. ben then moved to S&MA in 2000, where they held the same role. In 2006, they joined J&P Technologies as a Senior Engineer. In this role, they served as the S&MA Flight Software Safety Engineer and focal point in the area of Guidance, Navigation, Control, and Propulsion GNCP for CEV Program and GN&C for SSP. ben also contributed to GNCP FDIR Working Group for the NASA multipurpose crew vehicle MPCV, served as the S&MA representative to the Advanced Health Management System AHMS Integration Working Group, headed the S&MA in the Discrepancy Report DR Board, and served as flight software functional engineer for shuttle ascent on-orbit and entry.

Ben Achour earned their Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from UHCL.
