Hugh Lomas has over 25 years of work experience in engineering and software safety. Hugh began their career in 1994 as a Software Engineer at GeoControl Systems. Hugh then worked as a Journeyman Engineer at GHG Corporation in 1995, and as a Systems Engineer at GeoLogics Corporation in the same year. In 1996, they worked as a Senior Analyst at Dynacs Engineering Company, Inc on the International Space Station Program. In 1998, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Coleman Research Corporation, and in 1999 they worked as a Senior Systems Engineer at GeoLogics Corporation. In 2000, they worked as a Senior Software Assurance Engineer at SAIC and received a NASA Award in 2010 for their work reviewing SpaceX Corp Software. From 2012 to 2015, they worked at New York Air Brake - Train Dynamic Systems as a Quality Assurance and Software Safety Engineer. Finally, from 2015 to present, they have worked as a Systems Engineer at J&P Technologies.
Hugh Lomas obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from The University of Texas at Arlington in 1983. Hugh had previously obtained a Bachelor in Aerospace Engineering from the same university in 1969.
