Jehanzeb Awan

Jehanzeb Awan serves as the Chairman of the Middle East, Africa and Asia Crypto and Blockchain Association since November 2023, focusing on the growth of blockchain-crypto ecosystems in the region. Jehanzeb is the Founder and CEO of Azakaw, as well as the CEO of J. Awan & Partners, which Jehanzeb established to provide governance, risk, compliance, and financial reporting solutions for global financial services. Jehanzeb has extensive experience in compliance, having held senior roles at Morgan Stanley as the Executive Director and Head of Compliance for the MENA region, and at the National Bank of Dubai, where Jehanzeb built the bank's regulatory function. Jehanzeb holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Business Administration and Management from the University of Arizona, completed in 1998.
