Dr Shailesh B Shah is a Director – Finance of J.B. And Brothers Group. A qualified medical doctor; he joined the group during its formative years in 1983; He setup the manufacturing activities in Surat.Since then he developed the company’s Finance & manufacturing functions. A person with a rational approach; sharp business acumen and high analytical skills.
Since 1983 till-date his contributions has enabled the group to transform the product portfolio from smaller diamonds to bigger stones. He drove technology innovation to standardize manufacturing processes and maximize value in the planning process. Due to these initiatives – the group has been successful in developing a competence to produce Triple Excellent Symmetry & emerge as Masters in Solitaires.
In order to support the family business he sacrificed his professional careeras a Doctor; but continues to support a number of social initiatives. Dr.Shaileshbhai supports a number of Hospitals in Surat. Professionally he is engaged with GJEPC as a Committee member (Surat Chapter); member of Surat Diamond Association; member of South Gujarat Chambers of Commerce & member of Indian Diamond Institute – Surat.
