Director, Highway Engineering at J.B. Hunt Transport

Mike Anderson has a diverse and extensive work experience across various industries and roles. Mike is currently working as the Director of Highway Engineering at J.B. Hunt Transport Services since 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Director of Engineering at the same company from 2021 to 2022, where they were responsible for generating innovative ideas, conducting market research, and serving as an alliance manager with Google Cloud and Waymo. Mike further pursued their education in Mechanical Engineering by earning a Master of Science (MS) degree from the Missouri University of Science and Technology, from 1998 to 2000. Anderson also completed graduate studies in Nuclear Engineering at the U.S. Air Force Institute of Technology between 2005 and 2007. In 2012 and 2013, they attended the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College, where they obtained a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Strategic Studies. In addition to their degrees, Anderson holds certifications as a 6Z Army Strategist and a 5K Army Instructor, obtained in 2013 and 2008 respectively, both from the US Army.
