Jesse Johnson

Sr. Director, Supply Chain Center of Excellence at J.B. Poindexter & Co., Inc.

Jesse Johnson has extensive work experience in supply chain management and operations spanning over three decades. Jesse currently holds the position of Sr. Director, Supply Chain Center of Excellence at JB Poindexter & Co since February 2023. Prior to this, Jesse worked at Verifone as Sr. Director, Supply Chain and Sales Operations from June 2021 to February 2023.

From 2015 to 2021, Jesse worked at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, where they held various roles. Jesse served as the Head of Supply Chain Process Transformation from July 2017 to June 2021, leading the companywide supply chain process transformation and reinvention during the implementation of a new ERP system. Jesse was responsible for determining processes, creating governance of partners, and driving requirements for control tower visibility.

Before that, Jesse served as the Director Pro Tem Supply & Demand Planning from April 2015 to July 2017, leading planning staff for new product transitions and ramp. Jesse successfully merged two large planning organizations, resulting in a 20% reduction in headcount. Jesse also played a crucial role in launching the Gen10 platforms with zero material constraints and improving demand planning accuracy through a governance model.

Prior to joining Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Jesse worked at HP in various supply chain management roles. As the Senior Manager of Supply Chain Operations from May 2013 to April 2015, they achieved significant reductions in excess and obsolescence by implementing lead time-based component tracking and creating specialized positions. Jesse also led inventory strategy resulting in the lowest Days of Inventory measurement and presented weekly reports to senior executives.

Jesse held several managerial positions at HP, including Director Pro Tem of Software Supply Chain & Manager of New Product Programs from March 2012 to April 2013, Manager of Procurement and Planning from February 2010 to March 2012, Manager of Demand & Supply Planning from April 2006 to February 2010, and Demand Planning Manager – HP Storage from April 2003 to April 2006. Jesse also served as a Supply Chain Strategy Manager – HP Enterprise Storage and Servers from October 1999 to April 2003.

Prior to joining HP, Jesse worked at Compaq Computer Corporation as a Commodity Buyer from January 1998 to October 1999. Jesse'searly career includes serving as a Logistics Specialist in the Army National Guard from January 1992 to January 1998. Overall, Jesse Johnson has demonstrated expertise in supply chain management, process transformation, planning, and operational optimization throughout their career.

Jesse Johnson attended Michigan State University from 1993 to 1997, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a specialization in Supply Chain Management. They then pursued further education at LeTourneau University from 1998 to 2000, earning a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Business Administration.

In addition to their formal education, Jesse also has a certification in Yellow Belt - Six Sigma, obtained from HP. The specific month and year of obtaining this certification are not provided.
