Katharine Wardle

Katharine Wardle has extensive experience in finance and executive roles. Katharine is currently working as the VP of Finance at J. Craig Venter Institute since June 2023 and as the Consulting Chief Financial Officer at New Children's Museum since May 2023. Prior to these positions, they served as the CFO at Francis Parker School from November 2018 to February 2023. Their previous roles include CFO positions at Lawrence Family JCC from July 2014 to November 2018, Mingei International Museum from April 2010 to July 2014, and Skinit Inc from August 2007 to August 2009. Katharine also worked as the VP Finance at Advanced Marketing Services from June 2006 to August 2007, VP Finance - CFO at Waldo's Dollarmart de Mexico from September 2002 to May 2006, and CFO Latin America at WFI from September 1999 to April 2002. Additionally, they have served as a Board Advisor at the Center for Health and Wellbeing from October 2009 to December 2010.

Katharine Wardle has a strong educational background with a focus on leadership and international management. Katharine began their education at the University of Aberdeen, where they obtained an MA Hons degree in Politics and International Relations from 1984 to 1988. Katharine furthered their studies at the SOAS University of London, where they completed an MSc in South East Asian Politics from 1988 to 1990.

In 1996 and 1997, Katharine pursued an MBA in International Management at the Thunderbird School of Global Management. This degree added to their expertise in global business practices and management skills.

Later, in 2023, Katharine enrolled at the University of San Diego to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Leadership. Katharine is currently working towards completing this program.

In addition to their formal education, Katharine has also obtained certifications to enhance their professional skills. In March 2023, they completed the Smartsheet Essential Training course, offered by LinkedIn. Furthermore, in September 2003, they earned the title of Certified Management Account.
