Alison Strand

Alison Strand is a highly experienced professional in fabric management and design, currently serving as Senior Director at J.Crew since May 2011. Previously, Alison held positions as Fabric Manager at DKNY JEANS and Martin + Osa, and created the fabric R&D department at Rebecca Taylor. With a background that includes fabric sourcing, cross-functional team collaboration, and the establishment of effective communication processes, Alison has consistently contributed to product development in the fashion industry. Alison's earlier experience as a Designer at Nanette Lepore included overseeing multiple women's-wear collections. Alison holds a degree from Marist College, with earlier education completed at Cold Spring Harbor High School.
