J.D. BARNES
Jason Hazen is the General Manager of Geodetic & Engineering Surveys at J.D. Barnes Limited, with a tenure at the company beginning in April 1998. Since 2014, Jason has led significant infrastructure projects across Ontario and Quebec, focusing on hydro transmission corridors, oil and gas pipelines, subway construction quality control, and pre-engineering surveys for bridges and highways. Prior to this role, Jason managed highway pre-engineering projects and topographic mapping from 2009 to 2014. Additionally, Jason served as a guest lecturer on Geomatics and Surveying at York University from 2004 to 2016. With a background in aviation, Jason is also a Tow Pilot and Glider Pilot Instructor for the Canadian Forces Cadet Instructors Cadre, participating in various roles since 1991. Jason holds a Bachelor of Science in Geomatics from the University of Toronto, earned from 1994 to 1998.
