Sofia Kaur

Sofia Kaur, PhD, serves as the Analytics Lead and Data Scientist at J.D. Irving, Limited since December 2022. Prior to this, Sofia Kaur worked as a Data Scientist at iWave from April 2019 to December 2022 and gained valuable experience as a Research Assistant at Dalhousie University between May 2014 and October 2018. During the time at Dalhousie, Sofia Kaur employed a root data analysis framework primarily written in C++ to conduct data analysis, big data processing, statistical analysis, visualization, and storage. Additionally, Sofia Kaur held roles as a Teaching Assistant and Guest Faculty, showcasing expertise in general physics education. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Nuclear Physics from Dalhousie University (2014-2018), a Master's degree in Physics from Panjab University (2010-2012), and a Bachelor's degree in Physical Sciences from Panjab University (2007-2010).
