Thanusak Phungdet has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and positions. Thanusak started their career in 1997 as the Founder and CEO of J.D. Pools, and in 2007, they served as the President of Rotary International. In 2012, they were appointed as the President of Phuket Real Estate and also became a Senior Consultant at The Thai Real Estate Association. In 2016, Thanusak co-founded Phuket City Development Company, and most recently, in 2019, they became the Chairman of the Board at the Chamber of Commerce.
Thanusak Phungdet holds a Master of Business Administration (Mini MBA) from Thammasat University, which they completed from 2005 to 2006. Thanusak also obtained a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from Ramkhamhaeng University, which they completed from 1982 to 1986. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained certifications such as the Certificate in Joint Government-Private Sector Administration of Society's Peace and Order from the Police Education Bureau Thailand in 2019, and the Certificate in Navy Executive Development Relations Program (Class 11) from the Royal Thai Naval Academy in 2014.
