Ritu Kumar

Ritu Kumar currently serves as the Director of the Stem Cell Core at Gladstone Institutes, a position held since August 2021. Prior to this role, Ritu Kumar was a Research Assistant Professor of Cell and Developmental Biology and Senior Research Associate at Weill Cornell Medical College from 2009 to 2021. Ritu Kumar's academic career includes working as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai from 2004 to 2009, and obtaining a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences between 1999 and 2004. Ritu Kumar earned a Master's degree in Biochemistry from Doctor Ram Manohar Lohia Awadh University in 1997.
