Kelsey Lewis

Kelsey Lewis has a diverse work experience spanning from 2012 to present. Kelsey started their career as a Sales Associate Cashier at Target in 2012 and worked there until 2015. From 2015 to 2016, they worked as a Sales Associate at Hollywood Feed and SEPHORA. In 2016, they interned at Limestone County Legislative Delegation and also worked as an Auditor with Veterans Affairs at Athens State University. In 2017, Kelsey gained experience at the HudsonAlpha Institute for Biotechnology, focusing on research techniques and lab skills. In 2018, they worked as a Mathematics Tutor at the LEARN TO READ COUNCIL OF ATHENS AND LIMESTONE COUNTY INC and later as a Biology and Computer Science Tutor and Lab Assistant at Athens State University. Their most recent work experience is as a Software Engineer at J.F. Taylor, Inc since 2019, where they serve as the Deputy Network Team Lead and works on various projects related to flight simulators.

Kelsey Lewis has an impressive education history. They began their post-secondary education at Calhoun Community College, where they earned an Associate of Science degree in General Studies from 2013 to 2015. Following this, Kelsey enrolled at Athens State University and pursued a Bachelor's degree with a dual major in Cellular and Developmental Biology and Bioinformatics from 2015 to 2019. Continuing their academic journey at Athens State University, they are currently pursuing a Master of Science degree in Computer Science, which commenced in 2023.
