Laura B.

Laura B. has extensive work experience in various roles throughout their career.

Laura began working at Snelling in 2008 as a Contracts Administrative Assistant, where they maintained complex Excel spreadsheets, scheduled conference lines, and tracked programmatic projects and tasks.

In 2010, Laura joined Parker Tide Corp. as a Program Support Specialist/Contract Specialist. Their responsibilities included reviewing Interagency Agreement (IAA) packages, ensuring proper formatting and legal sufficiency, and maintaining contact with program offices and contracting officers.

From 2011 to 2013, Laura worked at Premier Management Corporation as a Contract Specialist, supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs. Laura reviewed contract and IAA packages, utilized virtual office acquisitions web portals, and provided corporate level support to field Site Leads.

Laura then joined JCB Services, LLC in 2012 as an Office Manager, providing office management and oversight to their husband's small business. Their duties included data entry, reconciling accounts, creating quotes/proposals, and maintaining employee files.

In 2018, Laura started working at J.F. Taylor, Inc as a Program Analyst. Laura later became the Deputy IPT Lead and currently holds the role of IPT Lead, L3. Details of their responsibilities in these roles are not provided.

Laura B. has a Network Security Certificate from Anne Arundel Community College, obtained in 2016. Laura also studied Business Administration and Management at Anne Arundel Community College. Laura obtained a PMP Certification from CEGOS and also has a certification in Contracts/Acquisition/Procurement from Defense Acquisition University. Laura attended the PI-21 CMMI SVC course and obtained PMP PDUs from Velociteach. In September 2017, Laura obtained a PMP certification from Project Management Institute.
