Misty Bell

Misty Bell has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. In 2016, they worked as a Manager at Rita's Italian Ice, where they excelled in customer service, managed employees, and handled store tasks. From 2017 to 2018, they interned as a Sports Medicine Intern at the University of Maryland Athletics, assisting the head athletic trainer with various tasks. In 2018 and 2019, they served as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant and Student Academy in Public Health Intern, respectively, at the University of Maryland Biological Sciences Department and St. Mary's County Health Department. Misty Bell attended Duquesne University from 2016 to 2017, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training/Trainer. Misty then attended the University of Maryland from 2017 to 2020, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science. In terms of certifications, Misty obtained Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association in April 2021. In August 2019, they also obtained a Foundations of Public Health Certificate from the University of Albany School and became certified in Mental Health First Aid and Opioid Overdose through training at the St. Mary's County Health Department in July 2019.
