Sara Lane Eit

Sara Lane, EIT, has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Sara started their career as a Crew Member at Bojangles' Restaurants, Inc. in 2013 and worked there until 2015. In 2015, they joined Kroger as a Front End Supervisor and held this role until 2017. During the same period, they also worked as an Engineering Intern at Western Virginia Water Authority.

Following their time at Kroger and Western Virginia Water Authority, Sara joined New Millennium Building Systems in 2017 as a Detailer and later transitioned to the role of Sales Engineer. Sara worked at New Millennium Building Systems until 2019.

In 2019, Sara joined American Electric Power as a Transmission Line Engineer Associate and was later promoted to the role of Transmission Line Engineer. Sara worked at American Electric Power until 2023.

Most recently, in 2023, Sara joined J.F. Taylor, Inc. as a Mechanical Engineer.

Sara Lane, EIT, received their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Engineering Science from Virginia Tech. Sara attended Virginia Tech from 2013 to 2017.
