Harlan Piper

Harlan Piper is an experienced portfolio manager currently at J. Goldman & Co., L.P. since May 2023. Prior to this, Harlan held roles in analytics at 37signals from January 2022 to April 2023 and was the founder of Precern from July 2020 to January 2022. Harlan also had a brief period of gardening leave at Noncompete in early 2020. Earlier career experiences include positions as an investment analyst at Point72 from June 2016 to January 2020 and at QVT Financial LP from July 2013 to April 2016. Harlan started a career in research at CEB between September 2008 and August 2011. Harlan holds an MBA in Finance and Accounting from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business (2011-2013) and a degree from Harvard University (2004-2008).
