Champ Burgess

Champ Burgess currently serves as the President of Pharmacy Services at Knipper Health, a position held since March 2025. Prior to this, Champ held the role of Vice President of Health System Strategy at Shields Health Solutions from 2023 to 2025. Champ's experience also includes serving as Chief Pharmacy Officer and Vice President of Operations at University Hospitals from 2017 to February 2023, and Assistant Director at UNC Health Care from 2009 to 2017. Champ holds a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting and Business Management from East Carolina University.
