Matthew Hickerson

Matthew Hickerson has a diverse work experience in the pet industry. Matthew is currently the Director of Key Accounts at Natural Balance Pet Foods Inc since February 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Manager of Sales at The J.M. Smucker Company from December 2015 to February 2021. Before that, Matthew was a National Account Manager at Spectrum Brands - Pet, Home & Garden from May 2012 to November 2015. Matthew also had significant experience at PETCO Animal Supplies, Inc., where they served as a Merchandise Manager for Aquatic Supplies from March 2009 to May 2012, and as an Associate Merchandise Manager for Live Animals and Aquatic Supplies from 2004 to March 2009. Matthew has also owned and operated a martial arts dojo as a business owner from 2000 to 2003.

Matthew Hickerson attended San Diego State University from 1998 to 2000, where they studied Communications. Matthew then attended Remington College from 2004 to 2007, obtaining a degree in Criminal Justice. Later, from 2008 to 2010, they furthered their education at Remington College, this time studying Operations Management.
