David Coffey

David Coffey has a diverse work experience including roles in health, safety, and wellbeing. David is currently the Head of Health, Safety and Wellbeing for HMJV on London Power Tunnels 2 at J. Murphy & Sons Limited since June 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Health, Safety, Environment, Quality, and Wellbeing from February 2020 to June 2022. David also worked as a Regional Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality Manager from December 2016 to February 2020 and as a SHEQ Advisor from April 2015 to December 2016. David started their career as a Graduate Health & Safety Advisor at J. Murphy & Sons Limited in September 2014, where they worked until April 2015.

Before joining J. Murphy & Sons Limited, David worked as a Care Worker (Locum) at st.vincent de paul from March 2010 to September 2014. David also gained experience as an Assistant Health and Safety Officer at Bristol-myers squibb laboratories from January 2012 to December 2012.

David Coffey attended the University of Limerick from 2009 to 2013, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Health & Safety. David also has additional certifications, including being a Graduate member of IOSH and obtaining certifications in Senior Accident Investigation and CAT & Genny Advanced Train the trainer.
