James Patterson

James Patterson is an experienced clinical laboratory professional with extensive expertise in medical terminology and informatics. Currently serving as the Director of Clinical Laboratory Services at The St. John Group since September 2018, James focuses on team development and training. Previous roles include Senior Medical Terminology Analyst at J P Systems, Inc., where James led allergy data mapping for the Veterans Administration, and Terminology Consultant at Wolters Kluwer, providing mapping of local codes to standard terminologies. A proven leader in clinical terminology, James managed complex data mapping projects for the Veterans Administration during tenure at ManTech and has served in various capacities across multiple organizations, including clinical laboratory management and military service with the United States Air Force. James holds a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from the University of Missouri-Columbia and various certifications from the Community College of the Air Force.
