Heidi Strean

Heidi Strean is an accomplished professional in the field of exhibition design and management, currently serving as the Associate Director for Exhibitions at J. Paul Getty Trust since March 2025. With extensive experience, Heidi held multiple roles at the Cleveland Museum of Art, including Margaret and Loyal Wilson Chief Exhibition, Design, and Publications Officer, Director of Exhibitions & Publications, and Director of Exhibitions from October 2001 to March 2025. Additionally, Heidi founded and operates Strean Design Consulting, LLC, since January 2020. Academic qualifications include a Master of Arts in Management from Carnegie Mellon University - Heinz College of Information Systems and Public Policy and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Design from Central Michigan University. Previous roles also include Adjunct Professor at Carnegie Mellon University and Exhibitions Coordinator at Carnegie Museum of Art.
