Residential Scholar at J. Paul Getty Trust

Leslie Bedford is an accomplished professional in the field of museum studies, currently serving as a Residential Scholar at the J. Paul Getty Trust since January 2015. With extensive experience, Bedford has been a member of The Museum Group since June 1997, focusing on program and staff development. As faculty at Fundación TyPA, involvement includes teaching at an annual seminar for museum professionals in South America. Bedford previously directed the Museum Leadership Program at Bank Street College of Education from 1999 to 2012, aimed at mid-career practitioners. Additionally, a tenure as a visiting researcher and consultant for the Fulbright Commission occurred in 2010, along with a directorship for the Japan Program at The Childrens Museum in Boston from 1981 to 1992.
