Michael Hofmann has extensive work experience in various industries and roles. From 1992 to 1997, they worked at Procter & Gamble in positions such as Country Manager and Trade Marketing Manager, where they were responsible for sales strategy, key account management, and business development. From 1997 to 2002, they worked at Imperial Tobacco as a Global Marketing Manager, where they developed marketing strategies, managed brands, and expanded the company's presence in new markets. Michael then joined Pfeifer & Langen Nahrungsmittel-Gruppe/Diamant Zucker as the Marketing Director for their food division from 2002 to 2008. In this role, they oversaw marketing for several food brands and achieved significant sales growth. From 2008 to 2010, they served as the Geschäftsführer/Business Unit Manager at Gelita, where they handled general management, business development, and sales and marketing for their food and health products. Most recently, since 2011, they have been working as a Business Manager auf Zeit, responsible for business unit management and business development in the OTC, food, and food ingredients sector. In January 2020, they joined J. Rettenmaier & Söhne as the Global Head of the Life Science Division, overseeing the food, pharma, cosmetics, and animal nutrition industries.
Michael Hofmann received a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Wirtschaftswissenschaften from the Universities of Passau and Budapest between 1986 and 1991. Michael also completed an Executive-Diplom in General Management at St. Galler Business School in Schweiz from 2006 to 2008. In addition, they obtained a Zertifikat in Menschen führen - Leben wecken (Systemisches Führen + Kommunizieren der Benediktiner) from an undisclosed institution from 2008 to 2010. Furthermore, they earned a Zertifikat in Praxis-Markentechnik & Agenturführung from Prof.Brandmeyer Genf/Hamburg. Finally, they acquired a Zertifikat in EKS Akademie/Ausbildung in Engpass-Konzentrierter-Strategie für Mittelstand/kleinere Konzerneinheiten from 2011 to 2012.
