Sam Berkman

Sam Berkman serves as the National Director of Communal Relations for J Street since July 2011, after progressing through various roles, including Regional Director and Deputy Regional Director for the Midwest. Responsibilities have included managing relationships with over 100 members of Congress and analyzing legislation to produce policy recommendations. Previous experience includes leadership roles on the Northland College Alumni Board and AmeriCorps NCCC, alongside internships at the United States Senate and the US Department of Commerce. Sam Berkman holds a Master of Public Administration from The George Washington University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Writing and Sociology from Northland College.
