Alea Nielson

Alea Nielson is a Design Engineer at J-U-B ENGINEERS, Inc. since March 2017, specializing in the design of sewer collection systems, irrigation pipelines, and grading plans for various infrastructure projects. Alea engages with clients to identify and solve civil engineering challenges, utilizing water modeling software and producing comprehensive plan sets and cost estimates. Prior experience includes a Civil Engineering Internship at Xytronix Research and Design, where communication of technical ideas and problem analysis of structural drawings were key responsibilities, and a Civil Engineering Internship at Nucor Corporation. Additionally, Alea has served as a Production Associate and Women's Lacrosse Referee with the Utah Lacrosse Association, showcasing strong decision-making and leadership skills. Education includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from Utah State University and a high school diploma from Murray High School.
