John Powell

John Powell has over 25 years of experience in civil engineering, currently serving as the Technical Resources Lead in the Transportation Services Group at J-U-B ENGINEERS, Inc., a position held since June 1998. Initially starting as an engineer in training, John quickly progressed to project engineer and now manages large multi-disciplinary transportation projects. Prior experience includes three consecutive internships at the Utah Department of Transportation from 1995 to 1997, where responsibilities included surveying, construction inspection, material testing, and CAD design. John earned a B.S. in Civil Engineering with a minor in Spanish from Utah State University, following an A.S. degree from the College of Eastern Utah.
