Glauco Alves

Glauco Alves has extensive experience in the fields of engineering and supply chain management, with a career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as a Regional Commodity Manager at Jabil since July 2009, responsibilities include supplier auditing, strategic supplier management, commodity strategy development, and procurement. Prior experience includes positions as a Mechanical Engineering Manager at Samsung, where team management and product line implementation were key duties, and as NPI-Project Chief at Philips, focusing on next-generation product development. Additional roles at Philips include Mechanical Engineering Development and Assistant Production Engineering, where cost reduction and efficient production processes were primary objectives. Glauco holds a Master's degree in Production Engineering from the Universidade Federal do Amazonas, an MBA in Production Management from CIESA, and a Mechanical Technician diploma from the Federal Technical School of Amazonia.
