Alva K. Lim

Alva K. Lim is a seasoned professional in community renewable energy and food innovation with extensive experience across various organizations. Currently serving at Jacana Energy since August 2023, Alva previously held managerial roles at Nous Group and was the Chief of Food Innovation at the Timor-Leste Food Innovators Exchange (TLFIX) from July 2018 to March 2023, focusing on social innovation through food. As a co-founder and director of Agora Food Studio, Alva contributed to multiple capacity-building initiatives, including as Capacity Building Coordinator at Resourcing Inclusive Communities. Alva's background also includes significant roles in agricultural biodiversity and climate change with Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, as well as consultancy work with DAI and Seeds of Life under AusAid/ACIAR. Educational qualifications include a Master's of Public Policy from the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Sydney.
