Kayla Huemer

Kayla Huemer is an accomplished professional currently serving as the Head of Product at Jacaranda Health, where the focus is on improving maternal and neonatal care in Sub Saharan Africa. With a strong background in AI/ML and digital health, Kayla has contributed significantly to Medtronic LABS as a Product Manager and previously as an intern, enhancing healthcare access for underserved populations. In addition to product management, Kayla is involved in TEDxKitisuru as a Lead Storytelling & Speaker Coach, refining speaker presentations. Educationally, Kayla holds a Master’s degree in Bioengineering from Stanford University and a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, with further study at institutes in India.
