Richard Wood

Richard Wood has extensive experience in the transportation and management sectors, currently serving as Shop Supervisor at Jack Cooper Transport since August 2010. Previously, Richard held various volunteer and leadership roles, including Program Director for NRHS-KC from January 2010 to December 2014 and Co-Director of Education at ISM-KC for a short term in 2010. Richard also served as Service Manager at G.W. Van Keppel Co. and spent over two decades at Deffenbaugh Industries, where duties included Director of Purchasing and management of the Heavy Equipment Division. Additionally, Richard has been a dedicated volunteer with the Kansas City Jazz Ambassadors since 1994.
