Hannah Franz

Program Associate, Graduate Advisement at Jack Kent Cooke

Hannah Franz is the Program Associate for Graduate Advisement at the Cooke Foundation. In this role, she develops resources to support Cooke College and Undergraduate Transfer Scholars in their preparation for graduate school and fellowship opportunities; and supervises the selection of and supports the Cooke Graduate Scholars.

Before joining the Foundation, Hannah worked with an undergraduate research program for students from underrepresented backgrounds at the College of William & Mary. This work led her to co-author The Indispensable Guide to Undergraduate Research: Success in and Beyond College, which prepares students to thrive in college so that they may continue to top graduate and professional schools. Hannah also previously directed a peer education program at Virginia Commonwealth University.

Hannah has a PhD in Educational Policy, Planning, and Leadership from the College of William & Mary; an MSEd in Reading/Writing/Literacy from the University of Pennsylvania; an MA in Linguistics from North Carolina State University; and a BA in Linguistics from William & Mary.
