Samarah M.

Samarah M. is an experienced educational professional with a strong background in teaching assistance and student advocacy at McMaster University. Currently part of the Instructional Teaching Team in the School of Interdisciplinary Science, Samarah instructs large classes and evaluates student performance. Samarah has also contributed to the university's Office of the Vice-Provost (Teaching & Learning) by providing student insights for key projects. Additional experience includes serving as a Network Representative for Jack.org, where Samarah promotes mental health awareness, and as a Communications Officer for the International Journal for Students as Partners, significantly increasing engagement through strategic communications. Samarah's past roles also encompass data quality analytics at Roche and mentoring in the Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board.
