Sandra Hanington

Sandra Hanington, M.S.C., has extensive experience in governance and leadership across various sectors. Currently, Sandra serves as a member of the Governing Council at the University of Toronto and holds the position of Corporate Director at Extendicare, where Sandra chairs the Quality & Risk Committee. As a co-founder and board director of Jack.org, Sandra is dedicated to youth mental health advocacy following a personal tragedy. Sandra's previous roles include corporate director positions at Descartes Systems Group and Aimia Inc., as well as serving as President and CEO of the Royal Canadian Mint. Sandra holds an MBA and a Directors Education Program certificate from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Systems Design Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
